Privacy Policy

Updated: 2026-08-19

Leejihoon Holdings (a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea) operates Sajuly and is the controller of your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

1. Data we collect

Information you provide: your name, date and time of birth, birthplace timezone, gender, email address, and the timestamps/version of the consents you give.

Payment: processed by our active payment processor as Merchant of Record. We receive transaction status and an order identifier; we never receive or store your card number.

Usage: privacy-respecting, event-only product analytics (PostHog) to understand and improve the funnel. Automatic page/form capture, session recording, persistent analytics identifiers, and personal reading IDs are disabled. We do not sell personal data.

2. Why we use it & legal bases

To compute and deliver your reading and send it to you (performance of a contract); to authenticate you via email magic link/code; to keep records of consent and delivery (legal obligation / legitimate interest, including dispute evidence); to improve the service (consent / legitimate interest).

3. Processors & international transfers

We use: Supabase (database & authentication), Resend (transactional email), Dodo Payments (payment processing and Merchant of Record, when checkout is enabled), Vercel (hosting), and PostHog (analytics). These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside your country (e.g., the United States) under appropriate safeguards. The Merchant of Record processes payment and tax data under its own privacy policy and may act as an independent data controller for that payment data.

4. Retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time on the account page. On deletion, birth inputs and generated reading content are erased immediately and the account is disabled. Minimum transaction, consent, delivery, refund, and dispute evidence is retained only for applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal-defence periods, then deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (EU/UK GDPR, Japan APPI, Korea PIPA, and others), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict your data, and to withdraw consent. Birth details are handled as private personal information. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.

To exercise any right, contact hello@sajuly.com.

6. Cookies, children & changes

We use only cookies necessary for the service (session/auth and locale). Analytics uses in-memory identifiers and does not set a persistent analytics cookie. The service is for adults aged 18 or older.

We may update this policy; the effective date is below. Contact: hello@sajuly.com.
